Love this. I recently visited NYC for the first time and was just amazed by the city. I smiled as I looked through the photos, well done. And also smiled that not even two months ago I too stood in MoMA and photographed that same piece “To be with art is all we ask.” Ahh. Isn’t that a funny thing?
No accidents. I really believe that lately. Thanks for saying hi, Jen! Yrs. Laura
Wonderful photos. Thanks Laura. I’m pretty sure the tomatoes in NYC are even tastier than the local tomatoes here in the San Francisco Bay Area. At least I remember them being tastier.
Check out Eataly– Mario Batali’s new fabulous market/eatery in NYC. That’s where the tomatoes were…yummmmmmm.
Beautiful photographs! I was going to ask where the “to be with Art is all we ask…” quote came from, but I just see from previous post that it’s from the MoMA – awesome! And was the torte from Cafe Sabarsky as good as it looks? Thanks for sharing!
Hi, Patty. Yes, the MOMA, and YES the sacher torte at the cafe Sabarsky at the Neue Galerie is ethereal. You feel just like you’re in Vienna. Have you been to the Neue? It’s gorgeous and fairly new. yrs. Laura
